Our Fees

Fun London nursery at competitive prices

Looking for an affordable day nursery in SW16, London? Tiny Tots nursery daycare offers competitive fees and a great value for money. Our fees include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and drinks. Our fee structure reflects the quality of childcare we provide and the educational level of the staff we employ in our nurseries. The opening hours of Streatham Common Branch is open from 7:45am -6:15pm and the Streatham Vale Branch is open from 9:00am-3:00pm term-time only. We offer a 7:30am start at the Streatham Common Branch if needed at an additional charge.

Nursery Education Grant

Every three and four year old child in the country gets a nursery education grant. Nursery education grant can allow a three or four year old up to a maximum of 15 hours per week, for 38 weeks per year.
We are now also offering the 30 hours free childcare provided. Parents will need to provide the nursery with a valid DERN number for the additional 15 hours.
This grant is directly paid by the council (Lambeth Borough), to the nursery, once your child starts the nursery. Some parents prefer to bring their children only during term time i.e. 38 weeks, while others choose to spread the hours over 51 weeks.
Tinytots nursery is fully registered to get the nursery education grant for all three and four year olds.
Some two year olds also qualify for the nursery education grant depending on certain criterion. Please call Seema on 020 8764 8030 or email her at managertinytots@gmail.com to check if your two year old would qualify for the grant.

Tax-Free Childcare

Support for working families with children under 12. For every £8 you pay in, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child, per year.

Visit the Childcare Choices website for more information: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers can be used by parents as a contribution towards nursery fees. Many employers offer childcare vouchers to their employees to help reduce the childcare costs. Parents could receive up to £55 per week (£243 per month) of vouchers, which are exempt from tax and national insurance. Essentially you pay part of your nursery fees from your gross salary saving you tax and national insurance contributions.
The employer will give you physical or electronic vouchers, which are then used to pay the childcare provider. This is a cost-effective way of paying for childcare as the amount is taken pre-tax. You are therefore saving on NI and income tax contributions. If both parents work for an employer offering this scheme, you can both make a claim, effectively doubling your savings.
You don't even have to wait until you return to work. Parents are allowed to claim and build up their vouchers from when the child is born, as long as you are using a registered childcare provider, which Tinytots nurseries are.
The current voucher limits are:
  • £55 a week for a basic 20 per cent rate taxpayer – adding up to tax relief of £930 per parent
  • £28 a week for 40 per cent higher rate taxpayer – adding up to tax relief of £620 per parent
  • £22 a week for a 50 per cent top rate taxpayer – adding up to tax relief of £600 per parent
This adds up to a maximum £1,860 a year for a family with two working parents.
